About Ren

I am an Asian American photographer based in Houston, Tx. I was diagnosed with Schizoaffective bipolar-type disorder in 2020 and now use photography as a way to connect with people. I specialize in capturing the authenticity and raw emotion in people. Anyone can pick up a camera and snap a picture, but it takes a keen eye to tell a story with a single photo. I strive every day to master this craft. My side projects include photojournalism and practicing taking photos as a form of meditation for my mental health.
